Okay, you know about www.groupon.com (9/29/10) and Kathryn told us about www.LivingSocial.com. But did you know about www.BuyWithMe.com, www.redeemio.com and www.plumdistrict.com. Check them out for huge savings and treat yourself to something you wouldn't normally be "shopping for" like a massage, wine tasting, and great shoes at Zelaya Shoes in Bethesda etc.

Restaurant.com is an awesome FREE site that lets you purchase gift certificates to restaurants at a HUGE discount. You can search restaurants by name, location, or even by zip code. Once you choose your restaurant, you can view the menu and even get reservations if needed.
I have used the certificates many times, especially when I have been out of town. It is a great way to save money and try new places even though there are many restaurants listed that we normally go to anyway. Restaurant.com is always adding new restaurants too as well as sending awesome weekly promotions!
Yesterday's promotion was offering $25 certificates for only $1 using a special promo code. How can you not try it?
